The S 4812 retains great suction power even as the bag fills up. It's good at picking up dust and dirt close to walls and in corners, so you won't find a rim along the edge of the room. It coped well with cleaning pet hair in our tests and the filter traps even the small dust particulates brilliantly, so few allergens can escape back into the room. When using the Hybrid in battery mode, the dust pick-up isn't just as powerful, but it will still do a reasonable job, and suction doesn't drop off as the battery power runs down.
