BEST has created a new type of three-phase electronic motor which allows an average energy saving of 55% compared to traditional motors. The introduction of this type of technology makes BEST the first producer in the world to have introduced an ‘Energy Class A’ extractor hood according to current standards. Perimeter Extraction Perimeter extraction is a mechanical system whereby smoke, steam and odours coming from the hob top are forced to go through apertures placed along the perimeter of the hood. This creates greater efficiency, quieter performance and improved aesthetics by hiding the grease filters. Timer The timer function allows a run-on time to be set at an adjustable speed so that the hood will automatically switch off 5 minutes after cooking, allowing the air to be fully cleared.
