The Best Buy Artisan 5KFPM770 performs well in all tasks, is quiet and very durable and has a good range of accessories. This processor feels solid and even kneads heavy dough without wobbling. It’s particularly good at grating and slicing and the buttons are clear and well-positioned. The extra large feeding tube accommodates larger items with minimum slicing required, and there’s also a smaller feed tube for processing slender ingredients or adding liquids while the processor is running. Accessories include a mini bowl and blade and citrus press. The latter works well and makes smooth, tasty orange juice. It has two different sized cones, one for larger fruits such as grapefruits and oranges, and a smaller one for lemons and limes. It’s one of the quietest processors on test and comes with a box for storing some of its accessories. They are all dishwasher-safe and it has one speed and a pulse setting.
